Mesulame Dolokoto, the hooker for SWIRE Shipping Fijian Drua, is keen on increasing his playing time in the upcoming 2025 Super Rugby Pacific season. The native of Koroivonu, Cakaudrove, has represented the FIJI Water Flying Fijians 10 times and is focused on securing a starting position to make a more significant impact during matches.

“My personal target for 2025 is to work hard so I can have more game time,” Dolokoto stated, noting that preseason training has already kicked off in the heat, and he is eager to compete with his teammates for opportunities on the field.

Looking back at his performance in 2024, Dolokoto feels a sense of achievement but recognizes there is still potential for growth. “This year was a good year. I’m happy and satisfied with what I achieved this season. Reaching the quarter-final stage was a significant milestone, even though we didn’t achieve our goal of making the semi-final,” he remarked.

While the team did not meet their semi-final aspirations, Dolokoto’s outlook remains optimistic. “I’m proud of how far I’ve come, but we have another season in 2025 to reach our goals,” he added.

Dolokoto’s commitment and determination during the preseason phase indicate that he is ready to take on greater responsibilities and play a crucial role for the Drua in the 2025 season.
