Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) has announced the launch of direct flights by Fiji Airways starting in December. Sean Donohue, the airport’s chief executive officer, expressed enthusiasm for the new nonstop flights, which are scheduled to coincide with the winter holiday season.
“DFW is excited to add the beautiful islands of Fiji to our growing portfolio of international destinations. This new service will provide North Texas with nonstop access to a tropical paradise, linking Nadi with DFW’s extensive network of over 250 destinations worldwide,” Donohue stated.
The new flights are set to operate three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, utilizing Fiji Airways’ Airbus A350-900 XWB aircraft. Each aircraft will offer 301 economy class seats along with 33 lie-flat business class seats with all-aisle access.
The inaugural flight is slated for December 10, with special introductory fares available for booking on the Fiji Airways website.
This new route will mark Fiji Airways’ 24th international nonstop service and become the fifth destination in North America for the airline.
