Devo Babas Crowned Champions Again: A 7s Triumph for the Ages!

Devo Babas emerged victorious at the Fiji Bitter Marist 7s tournament, securing their sixth title with a close 10-5 win against Dominion Brothers. The final took place at HFC Bank Stadium in Suva, where fans created an electrifying atmosphere to support their teams.

Dominion Brothers initially gained the upper hand with a try from national player Iliavi Masori, leading 5-0 at halftime. However, Devo Babas made a strong comeback in the second half, with Aisake Peni scoring the equalizing try, followed by a decisive try from Rusiate Matai that clinched their victory.

Coach Bill Ratute praised his players’ commitment and hard work throughout the season and encouraged them to enjoy the sport, even during tough matches.
