Deputy Prime Ministers Manoa Kamikamica and Professor Biman Prasad have dismissed rumors surrounding a potential cabinet reshuffle.
When approached about the possibility of changes in the cabinet later this week, Professor Prasad stated that he has not received any information regarding such a reshuffle and emphasized that the decision lies solely with the Prime Minister.
Kamikamica also addressed the matter, asserting that he remains in his current role because it is the Prime Minister’s wish for him to be there. He added that when the Prime Minister does decide to rearrange ministerial portfolios, he typically does not provide prior notice to his ministers, making the changes unannounced.
This situation highlights the dynamic nature of government and the often unpredictable decisions made by leadership. While speculation about cabinet changes can create uncertainty, the focus remains on the leadership’s ability to govern effectively, regardless of personnel shifts.
In essence, both leaders are reaffirming their commitment to their positions while allowing the Prime Minister to maintain discretion over any potential changes.
Optimistically, the stable presence of current ministers may suggest continuity in governance, which can be reassuring to citizens who prefer stability in their leadership.
