The Denarau Golf and Racquet Club is gearing up for an exhilarating showdown this Saturday, as it hosts the eagerly awaited members closing tournament, played in the Individual Stableford format. This event has attracted a strong turnout, with 70 golfers registered to participate, all set to begin with a 9:30 am shotgun start following registration at 8:30 am.
Amitesh Chandra, the Club Manager, expressed excitement about the day ahead, emphasizing the club’s commitment to providing an enjoyable experience for participants. “We are looking forward to this exciting event. We will have 70 golfers participating, and it will be an enjoyable day,” Chandra stated.
Competitors will vie across multiple tee categories: professionals will play from the black tees, amateur men will tackle the blue, men aged 70 and above will compete from the white tees, and ladies will take to the red tees. To enhance the experience, a buffet lunch will be served to all participants, fostering camaraderie among the golfers.
The Members Closing event is poised to be one of the highlights as the club concludes its 2025 calendar, marking a significant day for both competitors and spectators alike. This tournament not only showcases the skills of the club’s members but also promotes community spirit and engagement within the golfing world.
