The back-to-school season is generating significant traffic congestion in Suva, prompting Deluxe No. 1 Limited to highlight its convenient shopping options for families. With outlets located at the Sports City Complex in Laucala Bay and Challenge Plaza in Laucala Beach, the retailer has reported a noticeable uptick in customer traffic over the past few weeks as parents rush to finalize preparations for the upcoming school year.

Managing Director Deepak Parmar noted that the increased customer engagement underscores a strong demand for accessible shopping during this busy period, particularly among working parents who seek efficient options. In response to this demand, Deluxe No. 1 Limited has extended its operating hours, including opening on Sundays until 7 PM, making it easier for families to shop.

Parmar emphasized that the company’s locations outside the city center allow parents to bypass heavy traffic, difficulties with parking, and long wait times typically associated with city shopping. With the school year commencing next Monday, both businesses and families are gearing up for one of the most hectic times of the year, highlighting the importance of convenience in today’s fast-paced environment.

This proactive approach by retailers like Deluxe No. 1 Limited not only alleviates stress for families but also reflects a growing trend in the retail industry towards accommodating the needs of busy consumers during peak shopping times.
