Coach Osea Kolinisau has unveiled a 12-member squad featuring two newcomers for the first leg of the SVNS Series, which will take place in Dubai and Cape Town. Kavekini Tanivanuakula and George Bose are set to make their international debuts in Pool C matches against strong contenders including New Zealand, the USA, and Spain in Dubai.
Joining the rookies are experienced players such as Sevuloni Mocenacagi, Jerry Matana, Joji Nasova, Suliano Volivolituevei, Ilikimi Torosi, Terio Tamani, Pilipo Bukayaro, Ratu Filipe Sauturaga, Vuiviwa Naduvalo, and Iowane Teba, all of whom bring a wealth of talent and expertise to the team.
However, the squad will be missing some notable names, such as Waisea Nacuqu, Joseva Talacolo, Kaminieli Rasaku, and Manueli Maisamoa.
The Dubai 7s is scheduled for November 30 to December 1, followed by the Cape Town 7s on December 7 and 8. This series presents a significant opportunity for the squad, particularly for the debutants, to showcase their skills on an international stage.
