Defending champions Dawasamu Secondary School from Tailevu are on the path to retaining their U18 title in the Weetbix Raluve competition after a tightly contested 19-12 victory against Shri Gurunanak Khalsa College from Labasa.
Dawasamu took control in the first half, ending the period with a 19-0 lead. Despite a determined effort from Shri Gurunanak in the second half, Dawasamu managed to maintain their advantage, securing the win and advancing to the semifinals, where they will face Natabua High School.
Natabua, who made headlines with a significant quarterfinal performance, achieved the largest victory of the round, decisively defeating Nasinu Secondary School 41-0, thanks to the exceptional skills of sprinter Frances Tuva.
