Defending champions Dawasamu Secondary School from Tailevu are on track to defend their U18 title in the Weetbix Raluve competition after securing a hard-fought 19-12 victory over Shri Gurunanak Khalsa College of Labasa. Dawasamu established dominance in the first half, heading into the break with a commanding 19-0 lead.
Although Shri Gurunanak mounted a spirited comeback in the second half, Dawasamu managed to maintain their advantage, ultimately winning 19-12. This victory keeps them on course for their title defense and secures a semifinal matchup against Natabua High School.
Natabua, for their part, achieved a significant win in the quarterfinals. With the exceptional performance of sprinter Frances Tuva, the western side convincingly defeated Nasinu Secondary School with a score of 41-0, ensuring their advancement to the last four.
