Defending champions Dawasamu Secondary School from Tailevu are on track to retain their U18 title in the Weetbix Raluve competition following a hard-fought 19-12 victory over Shri Gurunanak Khalsa College from Labasa.

Dawasamu showcased their strength in the first half, taking a commanding lead of 19-0 by halftime. Although Shri Gurunanak mounted a spirited effort in the second half, Dawasamu managed to hold them off to secure the 19-12 win, ensuring their campaign to defend the title remains on course and earning them a spot in the semifinals against Natabua High School.

Natabua, meanwhile, delivered a dominant performance in the quarterfinals. Utilizing the speed of sprinter Frances Tuva, the western giants achieved a remarkable 41-0 victory over Nasinu Secondary School, securing their place in the final four.
