DATEC has officially reopened its upgraded Pearson Vue Test Centre Select (PVTC Select), aiming to provide a high-standard examination facility to accommodate the increasing demand for global certifications among skilled professionals.
According to Datec’s chief executive officer, Vinit Nand, the investment in this advanced center underscores the company’s commitment to excellence and its goal of fostering professional development within the community.
The PVTC Select facility meets the highest international standards and is positioned as a key resource for building knowledgeable teams equipped to face future challenges. It ranks among the top five percent of Pearson Vue Testing Centres globally, adhering to stringent international specifications concerning technical aspects, equipment, administration, and certified personnel.
This new centre enhances convenience for Datec’s clients, allowing candidates from the Suva region to take their exams locally, which previously required travel to the west. The centre’s capacity has increased fourfold, enabling more candidates to sit for exams at the same time.
Importantly, the facility now offers access to the widely recognized PTE English exam and other advanced exams that were not previously available in Suva.
The intention behind transitioning from PVTC to PVTC Select was to provide a premier Computer-Based Test (CBT) environment that supports digitalization and adapts to changing certification requirements. This initiative promotes growth and ongoing improvement, ensuring individuals in Fiji and the surrounding region have access to top-quality testing experiences.
