DATEC has reopened its upgraded Pearson Vue Test Centre Select (PVTC Select), aiming to provide a premier international standard exam facility to meet the rising demand for global certifications among skilled professionals.
Vinit Nand, the chief executive officer of Datec, expressed in a statement that the investment in this state-of-the-art centre underscores their commitment to excellence and the goal of supporting professional development in the community. He mentioned that the facility is designed to conform to the highest international standards and will serve as a fundamental resource for developing knowledgeable teams equipped to address future challenges.
The PVTC Select facility is among the top five percent of Pearson Vue Testing Centres globally, adhering to rigorous international technical standards regarding specifications, equipment, configurations, administration, layout, and certified personnel.
This new centre will enhance convenience for Datec’s clients, allowing candidates from the greater Suva area, who previously had to travel to the West for exams, to now take them locally. The test centre’s capacity has increased fourfold, enabling more candidates to take exams simultaneously.
Additionally, the facility will provide access to the highly regarded English exam, PTE, along with other advanced exams that were not previously available in Suva. The upgrade from PVTC to PVTC Select was driven by the vision to establish a top-tier Computer Based Test (CBT) facility that supports digitalization and accommodates evolving certification exam needs.
Datec emphasized that this enhancement encourages growth and continuous improvement, ensuring that individuals from Fiji and the surrounding region can access exceptional testing experiences.
