DATEC has reopened its newly enhanced Pearson Vue Test Centre Select (PVTC Select), which aims to provide top-quality international examination facilities to cater to the increasing demand for global certifications among skilled professionals.
Vinit Nand, the chief executive officer of Datec, expressed in a statement that the investment in this advanced center demonstrates their commitment to excellence and their mission to support the professional growth of the community.
The facility has been designed to meet the highest international standards and is expected to play a vital role in preparing skilled teams for future challenges. It ranks among the top five percent of Pearson Vue Testing Centers around the globe, adhering to stringent international technical specifications and ensuring the best in equipment, administration, layout, and certified staff.
With the reopening, Datec’s clients will enjoy greater convenience, as candidates from the greater Suva area, who previously had to travel to the West for examinations, can now take them locally. The center’s capacity has increased by four times, allowing more individuals to take their exams at the same time.
Additionally, the facility will provide access to prestigious English examinations, such as the PTE, along with other advanced exams that were not previously available in Suva.
Datec noted that the upgrade from PVTC to PVTC Select was aimed at establishing a premier Computer Based Test (CBT) facility that aligns with the digitalization of certification exams and adapts to their evolving requirements. This initiative promotes growth and continuous improvement, ensuring that individuals in Fiji and the surrounding region have access to superior testing experiences.
