Darts Delight: Prasad Triumphs at Fiji Club!

Shalen Prasad emerged victorious in the Friends United 501 Darts singles competition held over the weekend at Fiji Club. Shivneel Narayan followed closely, securing the runner-up spot in this thrilling event. Salen Singh, a committee member of the Suva Darts Association, expressed pride in hosting 48 talented players, among whom were also skilled women competitors.

Singh thanked all contributors for making the event such a success at Fiji Club, extending special appreciation to the venue itself and to the dedicated members of DC for their ongoing support during the competition. He also acknowledged the generosity of Damodar Cinemas, which provided movie tickets, and Neel Shivam of Metro Gym, who sponsored the elegant trophies and cash prizes.

Special mentions were made for semi-finalists Ragen Mani and the young prodigy Seru Rehaan, only 12 years old and the son of the late Mereia Ravasiga and Laurance Ram. Participants were recognized for impressive performances, with awards for exceptional scores, and a special recognition trophy given to Christine Inisha Ram in memory of her late mother, Mereia Ravasiga.

Salen Singh concluded by congratulating all participants and winners for their remarkable performances, highlighting the spirit of competition and camaraderie that darts brings to the community.
