The Cuvu College Under-18 rugby team is focused on enhancing their performance, particularly in scrums. Assistant coach Samisoni Navatu shared this update following their narrow 23-22 victory over Ratu Kadavulevu School, who were favored to win the Vodafone Deans Trophy, during the quarterfinals.

Navatu acknowledged that there is still potential for improvement despite their recent success. He described the match as a challenging one, expressing gratitude for the win, stating, “Glory to God for this win.” He praised the team’s efforts, saying they arrived with the intent to secure a victory and succeeded.

The assistant coach also mentioned confusion surrounding the final score, as officials initially announced RKS as the winner but later reversed the decision. He noted that while some players are still 17 years old, they performed excellently on the field.

Navatu is urging their dedicated supporters to rally together and attend the semi-final match against Nasinu Secondary School this Saturday.
