An investigation is underway following the tragic death of Marika Radua, a man who died while in custody at the Savusavu Police Station in Cakaudrove on November 5. Minister for Home Affairs and Immigration, Pio Tikoduadua, emphasized that these events provide critical lessons for the Fiji Police Force, highlighting the need for improved care regarding the well-being of individuals in police custody.
During a visit to Labasa, Tikoduadua expressed that such incidents are regrettable and should not occur.
