Cultural Diplomacy: Fiji and China Forge New Ties

Fang Jiangshan, the Deputy Chief Editor of People’s Daily, visited the Ministry of iTaukei Affairs yesterday for discussions on cultural matters and to explore potential cooperation between Fiji and China. He was joined by several senior officials from the People’s Daily, including Liu Huaxin, Yu Jinxing, Yuan Xinwen, and Wang Yunsong. Minister for iTaukei Affairs, Ifereimi Vasu, expressed appreciation for the collaboration, highlighting the mutual benefits for the cultural sectors of both countries. This meeting, which received support from the Chinese Embassy, further enhances the bilateral relationship between Fiji and China.
