Culinary Excellence Takes Center Stage at Suva’s Grand Pacific Hotel

The Grand Pacific Hotel (GPH) in Suva has announced the appointments of Kanokwan Imprasittichai as the new executive chef and Taione Masuwale as the director of Food & Beverage.

Kanokwan Imprasittichai, originally from Thailand, brings 13 years of distinguished experience. She has held key positions at well-known establishments globally, including the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Bangkok and Bistro by Wolfgang Puck in Sydney. With a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and specialized training in Traditional Thai Cooking and Asian Cookery, Imprasittichai will oversee the hotel’s culinary operations and lead a talented team of chefs to maintain high standards in food quality and presentation.

Taione Masuwale, hailing from Fiji, joins GPH with extensive experience from his recent role as Central Support manager at Sourdough South Ltd in Hampshire, UK. With more than 18 years in the food and beverage sector, he has worked with several notable venues in the UK, including All Bar One, Turtle Bay, and Cóte Brasserie in London and the South Coast. Masuwale will manage the Food and Beverage department, emphasizing the improvement of service quality and guest satisfaction.
