Cruise Waves and Cargo Ships Set to Dock at Lautoka

Several vessels are anticipated to dock at the Port of Lautoka this week, as per the schedule from Fiji Ports Terminal Ltd available on their website. Among those expected are cargo ships and cruise liners.

The MSC NILA II container ship is scheduled to arrive on August 21, alongside the Kota Hening. According to My Ship Tracking, the MSC NILA II, built in 2001, is currently operating under the Liberian flag. The vessel travels at an average speed of 16.5 knots and encounters average winds of 12.9 knots. Notably, some of its frequently visited ports include Suva, Lautoka, Bell Bay, Noumea, and Brisbane.

Additionally, the Kota Hening is set to arrive on the same day, August 21. The Vessel Finder reports that this container ship is moving at a speed of 0.7 knots and is sailing under the Singaporean flag.

Furthermore, the Pacific Explorer from P&O Cruises Australia is expected to reach Lautoka Port on August 25.
