Cruise Fever: Pacific Adventure Sets Sail to Fiji!

The Port of Lautoka is currently bustling with a busy cruise ship schedule. Recently, P&O Cruises Australia’s Pacific Adventure made its arrival on August 19 as part of a 12-day round-trip adventure around Fiji. The 23-year-old cruise ship can accommodate up to 3,174 passengers and has a skilled crew of 1,100 members.

The Pacific Adventure set sail from Sydney on August 13 and made a stop at Mystery Island in Vanuatu on August 17. Originally named Dawn Princess, the ship is scheduled to visit Lautoka before heading to Dravuni Island in Kadavu, with plans to return to Sydney on August 25.

With a construction cost of $1.003 billion, the Pacific Adventure is powered by a powerful Watrsila-Sulzer engine. According to Cruise Mapper, the ship was navigating the South Pacific Ocean with specific coordinates of 17.60497 S / 177.43772 E before reaching Lautoka.

Upon completing its Fiji adventure, the Pacific Adventure will launch into a nine-day round-trip Barrier Reef Discovery Cruise, departing from Sydney at 4 PM on August 25. The itinerary includes stops in Queensland, Australia, and Cairns, followed by berthing at Willis and Moreton Island before returning to Sydney on September 3.
