This Friday, the Miss Cakaudrove Youth title winner will be awarded a stunning crown featuring 59 pearls at Narain Park in Savusavu. According to Aubrey Whippy, the coordinator of the Cakaudrove Multi-Ethnic Youth and Sports Festival, a total of 14 contestants are competing for both the Miss Cakaudrove Youth and Miss Charity titles. These contestants represent 12 different districts, including participants from Rabi Island and Kailoma.

The festivities will kick off today at 10 AM, beginning with a march from the Savusavu Court House to Narain Park. The closing ceremony for the pageant is set for Friday at 3 PM, culminating in the coronation of the Miss Cakaudrove Youth and Miss Charity at 7 PM, with Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka as the chief guest.

Mr. Whippy expressed gratitude to J Hunter Pearls for creating the unique crown and to Shane Bower for generously donating the crown for Miss Charity. This event promises a full day and night of activities spanning four days, with proceeds from the event directed toward youth development initiatives in Cakaudrove. Remarkably, entry to the park will be free, making this the inaugural program organized by the Cakaudrove Youth Provincial Council.

This festival not only highlights the talents and beauty of young participants but also emphasizes the importance of community involvement and youth development in the region, signifying a hopeful future for the youth of Cakaudrove.
