The crown for the 2024 Miss Hibiscus pageant has been expertly crafted by the renowned royal jewelry designer for Her Majesty Queen Nanasipau’u of the Kingdom of Tonga. The luxury vintage Swarovski and Pearl Crown is a unique creation made by Maria Yang, a master jewelry designer and contemporary artist.
This exquisite piece features a finishing touch of alloy, along with silver and gold plating. Yang is not only a certified emerald appraiser with the Hong Kong Jewelry Institute but also a colored gemstone researcher and a member of the China Collectors Association. Furthermore, she is the founder of ‘Star Wisdom’ Jewelry and ‘Cheese de Mars.’
Since 2019, Yang has called the beautiful Pacific Island of Tonga home, where she serves as the royal jewelry designer for Queen Nanasipau’u.
