The 68th Miss Hibiscus Festival is set to reveal the Luxury Vintage Swarovski and Pearl Crown for the upcoming Miss Hibiscus 2024. This exquisite crown has been designed by master jewellery artist Maria Yang.
Maria Yang is known for her contemporary jewellery designs and holds certification as an emerald appraiser from the Hong Kong Jewellery Institute. She is also a member of the China Collectors Association.
The crown itself is a statement piece, featuring a blend of intricate alloys, silver, and gold plating, embellished with Swarovski crystals and pearls. The winner of the Miss Hibiscus title will be awarded a return flight with Fiji Airways to one of three destinations: Los Angeles, Hong Kong, or Singapore, along with a cash prize of $1000. In addition, the winner will enjoy a four-night cruise to the Yasawa Group courtesy of Blue Lagoon Cruises, and two nights of luxury accommodations at Nanuku Resort in Pacific Harbour and Radisson Blu Resort in Denarau.
Moreover, the winner will also receive a $500 skincare package from Nama Fiji, two personal billboards placed at the entrance of Suva City, thanks to Go Advertising, and a day pass for Sabeto zipline.
The first runner-up will take home $750, a one-year membership at Malamala Beach Club, plus additional prizes, while the second runner-up will receive $500 and a day cruise to South Sea Island among other rewards. All contestants will also get a day pass to Sabeto zipline in Nadi.
