There is uncertainty surrounding the title of Miss Universe Fiji (MUF) following two contradictory statements released to the public. Manshika Prasad was crowned on Friday night, but a subsequent statement claimed she was mistakenly announced as the winner, with Nadine Roberts being the actual titleholder.
Later, Grant Dwyer, the official organizer of MUF, clarified that the initial announcement was accurate. He stated, “Manshika Prasad was judged fairly among the nine finalists during the live crowning event on August 30, 2024, at the Pearl Resort in Fiji.” Dwyer emphasized that the seven official judges voted for Manshika Prasad as the majority winner.
He concluded by reaffirming, “Manshika Prasad is the official winner of Miss Universe Fiji 2024.”
