Crowne Plaza Set to Host SPTE 2025: What’s in Store?

The Pacific Tourism Organisation is set to hold its annual South Pacific Tourism Exchange (SPTE) at the newly inaugurated Crowne Plaza Fiji in Nadi next year. The 9th SPTE is scheduled for May 9-10, following the successful 2024 event held at the Sheraton Fiji Resort and Spa on Denarau.

SPTO CEO Christopher Cocker expressed excitement for next year’s event, emphasizing their commitment to enhancing cooperation and innovation within the Pacific tourism industry. “Our aim is to create an exceptional experience for our members and stakeholders, fostering significant connections and sustainable growth throughout the region,” Mr. Cocker stated.

While the Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort & Spa has been confirmed as the venue, the organisation is working diligently to finalize all logistical aspects to ensure the best experience for participants.

The SPTE is a vital platform for tourism operators, wholesalers, and stakeholders to engage, collaborate, and showcase the variety of offerings available in the Pacific Islands. Mr. Cocker noted that the event is a unique chance for industry stakeholders to unite and explore new opportunities for collaboration and growth.

As preparations for SPTE 2025 continue, stakeholders can look forward to accessing resources on the event’s website in the upcoming months to aid in their participation.
