The Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort & Spa has achieved recognition at the HM Awards Aotearoa-Pacific 2024, securing the title of Best New Hotel in the Pacific category. Additionally, the resort received a Highly Commended mention in the Fijian Upscale Resort category during the awards ceremony held in Auckland, New Zealand.
The HM Awards are prestigious accolades that honor outstanding performance and excellence within the hospitality industry across the Pacific region. The general manager of Crowne Plaza Fiji, Shaun Parsons, expressed pride in these achievements, noting that they reflect the hard work and dedication of the staff in delivering exceptional five-star experiences to guests, particularly given that the resort has been in operation for less than a year.
Crowne Plaza Fiji features a variety of amenities, including ten dining and entertainment options and Fiji’s first European-style beach club, Urban Sugar, complete with an infinity pool. The resort boasts five swimming pools—with plans to expand to seven—as well as a day spa and suites that provide direct access to the pools.
Business travelers will find numerous facilities, including workspaces throughout the resort, meeting rooms, grand ballrooms for larger gatherings, and a new state-of-the-art convention center set to open next March, covering an area of 16,576 square meters.
Parsons emphasized the team’s commitment to realizing the hotel’s vision, highlighting their goal to offer the warm hospitality that Fiji is famous for, while also creating memorable experiences through top-tier accommodations, dining options, and leisure activities. He expressed optimism for the future, looking forward to generating even more memorable experiences for guests in the years to come.
This recognition underscores the potential for growth and excellence within the Fijian hospitality sector, suggesting a bright future for the Crowne Plaza Fiji and its commitment to outstanding service and guest experiences.
