The Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort & Spa has achieved notable recognition at the HM Awards Aotearoa-Pacific 2024, winning the New Hotel – Pacific category. This prestigious awards ceremony, held in Auckland, New Zealand, also acknowledged the resort as Highly Commended in the Fijian Upscale Resort category.
The HM Awards celebrate excellence within the accommodation sector in the Pacific region, and it’s significant for a resort that has been operating for less than a year to receive such accolades. Shaun Parsons, general manager of Crowne Plaza Fiji, expressed pride in the achievements, emphasizing how they reflect the commitment of the staff to provide five-star experiences and exceptional service to guests.
The Crowne Plaza Fiji features an impressive array of amenities, including ten dining and entertainment options, Fiji’s first European-style beach club with an infinity pool called Urban Sugar, and an expansion of their swimming pools from five to seven. The resort also offers a day spa and suites that provide direct access to the pools.
For business travelers, the resort is equipped with various working nooks, meeting rooms, grand ballrooms for larger events, and is set to unveil a state-of-the-art convention center encompassing 16,576 sqm in March next year.
Mr. Parsons reiterated the team’s commitment to realizing the hotel’s vision, highlighting the resort’s dedication to embodying warm Fijian hospitality and delivering exceptional experiences across all offerings. He expressed enthusiasm for future guest experiences and memorable moments in the years to come.
This recognition not only underscores the potential and promise of Crowne Plaza Fiji as a landmark for hospitality in the Pacific but also speaks to a broader trend of growth and quality in the region’s tourism industry, reflecting a hopeful outlook for both travelers and the local economy.
