The HM Awards Aotearoa-Pacific 2024 have honored the Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort & Spa as the winner of the New Hotel – Pacific category. The awards ceremony took place in Auckland, New Zealand, and the resort also received a Highly Commended recognition in the Fijian Upscale Resort category.

These awards celebrate excellence and outstanding achievements within the Pacific accommodation industry, making them highly esteemed in the sector. Shaun Parsons, the general manager of Crowne Plaza Fiji, expressed pride in the team’s dedication to providing exceptional service and five-star experiences to guests, particularly noteworthy for a resort that has been operational for less than a year.

The Crowne Plaza Fiji offers an impressive array of amenities including ten dining and entertainment venues, Fiji’s first European-style beach club with an infinity pool known as Urban Sugar, and five swimming pools, which will increase to seven shortly. Additionally, the resort features a day spa and suites that provide direct access to the pools.

For business travelers, the resort offers numerous working areas, meeting rooms, and grand ballrooms for larger gatherings, alongside a state-of-the-art convention center set to open in March next year, covering an extensive 16,576 square meters.

Mr. Parsons affirmed the team’s commitment to realizing the hotel’s vision and emphasized their goal of showcasing the warm Fijian hospitality that Fiji is celebrated for, while providing guests with unforgettable experiences through their premium accommodations, dining, leisure, and business facilities. He expressed optimism about creating lasting memories for guests in 2025 and beyond.

This recognition not only reflects the hard work and dedication of the staff but also positions the Crowne Plaza Fiji as a rising star within the hospitality sector, ensuring it will play a significant role in the region’s tourism landscape in the coming years.
