Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort & Spa has been recognized as the winner of the New Hotel – Pacific category at the HM Awards Aotearoa-Pacific 2024. The awards ceremony took place in Auckland, New Zealand, where the resort also received a Highly Commended mention in the Fijian Upscale Resort category.
The HM Awards celebrate excellence and outstanding performance within the Pacific region’s accommodation industry. Crowne Plaza Fiji’s general manager, Shaun Parsons, expressed pride in these achievements, highlighting the remarkable commitment of their staff to deliver five-star experiences and exceptional service since the resort opened less than a year ago.
The resort boasts an impressive array of amenities including ten dining and entertainment venues, Fiji’s first European-style beach club featuring an infinity pool called Urban Sugar, and five swimming pools (soon to be seven). It also offers a day spa and suites that provide direct access to the pools.
For business travelers, the resort is well-equipped with various working spaces, meeting rooms, extensive ballrooms for larger events, and a cutting-edge convention center set to open in March next year, covering a significant 16,576 square meters.
Parsons reiterated the team’s commitment to actualizing the hotel’s vision, emphasizing their focus on providing the warm Fijian hospitality the region is renowned for, along with creating unforgettable experiences through premium accommodations, dining, leisure, and business services. The commitment to excellence indicates a bright future for the resort, as they look forward to more memorable moments for guests in 2025 and beyond.
This recognition not only highlights the resort’s rapid success but also underscores the potential for growth and innovation in Fiji’s hospitality sector.
