These incidents are reported in the November 2024 statistics from the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions concerning non-sexual violence crimes.
Among other serious offenses, a 49-year-old man has been charged with intent to cause grievous harm following an alleged stabbing incident involving scissors during a dispute. Additionally, a 41-year-old man also facing grievous harm charges saw his case discontinued since the victim could not be contacted.
Reports further detail incidents of aggravated robbery and burglary, including a case involving a 17-year-old boy and a 19-year-old man charged with burglary and theft. A 34-year-old man and a 29-year-old man were also charged with aggravated burglary for breaking into Tilak High School in Lautoka, where they destroyed school property.
In another case, two 19-year-olds were charged after breaking into Kids First Kindergarten in Suva, where they stole various school items.
