Three individuals are set to appear before the Suva Magistrates Court today following a drug raid in Nadonumai that involved a collaborative task force. This operation included personnel from the Criminal Investigations Department, the Police Mobile Force, the Fiji Detector Dog Unit, and Divisional operations, which was carried out earlier this week.
One of the suspects, a 29-year-old man, is facing charges for possession of illicit drugs. Meanwhile, the other two suspects, aged 27 and 23, are each charged with serious assault.
This incident highlights the ongoing commitment of law enforcement in Fiji to combat drug-related crime and ensure public safety. The joint efforts of various police units demonstrate a proactive approach to tackling such issues in the community. It is hoped that these actions will contribute to the overall reduction of crime and create a safer environment for all citizens.
