Two men in their twenties have been charged and brought before the court regarding their suspected involvement in an aggravated robbery that occurred in Tamavua last month. The accused, aged 29 and 27, are believed to have unlawfully entered the home of a 46-year-old resident on October 30, where they allegedly stole cash, a mobile phone, and various other items before escaping the scene.
The pair were apprehended last week and subsequently charged with aggravated robbery, appearing in the Suva Magistrates Court on November 4. They are currently in custody and are scheduled to return to court on November 18.
