Striker Garbhan Coughlan delivered an impressive performance by scoring a hat-trick, leading the NZFFI Manukau Stars to a thrilling 3-2 victory over the AuFFI All Stars in the 2024 Pacific Community Cup held in Lautoka.

The match began with high hopes for the AuFFI All Stars, who had just come off a victory against Navua. Praneet Singh initiated the scoring in the 23rd minute, putting the All Stars in the lead. However, Coughlan showcased his talent by equalizing in injury time of the first half with a penalty kick.

In the second half, Coughlan dominated with two additional fantastic goals, putting the Manukau Stars in a solid position. Despite a late push from the AuFFI All Stars, which resulted in an own goal by Manukau’s goalkeeper Joshua Precious, the Stars maintained their lead.

As a result of this match, both teams are heading into the final day of competition with three points each. The upcoming schedule sees the Manukau All Stars challenging Navua at 4:15 PM, while the AuFFI All Stars will face Lautoka at 6:45 PM.
