Suva Lawyer and Electoral Commissioner Chairperson Barbara Malimali has been appointed as the new Commissioner of the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption (FICAC). FICAC has confirmed her appointment. The commission also stated that a search warrant was executed against Malimali, resulting in a search at the Electoral Commission’s Office in Suva.
