The group stages of the Copa America 2024 have concluded, and eight teams have advanced to the knockout stages of the tournament.
Defending champions Argentina had a fantastic outing in the group stages, winning all three of their matches to emerge as Group A winners. Following them was Canada, who overtook Chile to advance to the quarter-finals.
From Group B, Venezuela has finished as the toppers, with Ecuador securing the second spot. In a major shock, Mexico was eliminated from the group stages.
Group C experienced another significant upset as hosts USA were eliminated. Uruguay topped this group, while Panama joined them in their first-ever Copa America knockouts.
On Friday, July 5th at 1 pm (FJT), Argentina will face Ecuador. The matches continue on Saturday, July 6th at 1 pm (FJT) with Venezuela playing Canada. On Sunday, July 7th, Colombia will go against Panama at 10 am (FJT), followed by Uruguay vs Brazil at 1 pm (FJT).
