The Copa America 2024 has wrapped its group stages, revealing the final eight teams moving onto the tournament’s knockout stages.
Reigning Champions Argentina demonstrated impressive skill, winning all three of their group stage matches and securing their place as leaders of Group A. Canada managed to surpass Chile and has also progressed to the quarter-finals.
For Group B, Venezuela topped the standings with Ecuador following closely in second place. The competition served a significant surprise as Mexico was eliminated during the group stages.
Host nation USA suffered a similar fate in Group C, marking a considerable disappointment. Uruguay came out on top in this group, with Panama joining them in a historic first appearance in the Copa America knockouts.
The fixtures set to take place include Argentina against Ecuador on Friday, July 5th at 1pm (FJT). The following day, Saturday, July 6th at 1 pm (FJT), will see Venezuela take on Canada. The schedule continues on Sunday, July 7th, with Colombia versus Panama at 10 am (FJT) and Uruguay versus Brazil at 1 pm (FJT).
