Controversy Erupts Ahead of 10th Sanatan World Cup in Sydney

Subhas Sharma, the Chairman of the 10th Sanatan World Cup, has addressed various allegations concerning the event scheduled to take place in Sydney next month. He emphasized that despite another organization hosting a separate Sanatan World Cup in the same city, the public and participants should ignore the misleading information suggesting that the tournament at Blacktown Spartans Sporting Complex is no longer happening.

“This is an unwarranted campaign by the competing body aimed at undermining a well-organized event,” Sharma stated. He criticized the rival group’s focus on falsehoods instead of promoting their own event positively after separating from the original group earlier this year.

Sharma reassured everyone that the Australian Sanatan Youth & Sport Incorporated, the event’s host, has full backing from the Shri Sanatan Dharm Pratinidhi Sabha of Fiji. He confirmed that the 10th Sanatan World Cup, which is sponsored by the Rams Group of Companies, has been officially sanctioned by Football NSW through its affiliate, the Southern Districts Soccer Football Association, with which Australia Fiji Football Inc (AuFFI) is connected.

“We are an affiliated member of AuFFI and our tournament’s sanctioning is secure,” Sharma noted. He also addressed other unfounded accusations directed at the Sanatan World Cup board members, stating that these do not impact the participants. Sharma indicated that they would pursue legal action to uphold the integrity of Sanatan values.
