The Fiji Corrections Service (FCS) discovered significant amounts of marijuana and suki at the Naboro corrections farm during a search this morning. The drugs were located in a bush nearby the facility.

Deputy Commissioner Auta Moceisuva noted that as security measures have been enhanced, there has been an increase in drug discoveries in the vicinity of the prison. He explained, “We see a pattern where drugs are being dropped off at our farms and other workplaces,” highlighting the ongoing challenges posed by drug smuggling efforts.
