There were no incidents of a stabbing reported at the Believe Fiji concert held at Albert Park in Suva last night. Assistant Commissioner of Police – Operations, Livai Driu, made this clarification in a statement, urging the public to report any concerns directly to the police to ensure proper investigation, as unfounded claims can lead to unnecessary fear.
“Police officers were present at the concert venue from early evening until the conclusion of the event, and as of this morning, there have been no reports of a stabbing,” ACP Driu stated. He noted that a post circulating on social media regarding the alleged incident prompted police officers at the event to investigate. They confirmed that no stabbing occurred, nor was there any situation that required police action.
