There were no incidents of a stabbing at the Believe Fiji concert held at Albert Park in Suva last night. Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations, Livai Driu, made this clarification in a statement, urging the public to report any issues directly to the police for proper investigation, as rumors can lead to unwarranted panic.
“Police officers were present at the concert venue from early evening until the event concluded, and there have been no reports of a stabbing up to this morning,” ACP Driu stated. He noted that a social media post regarding the alleged incident had circulated, prompting officers at the venue to verify the claims, which confirmed that no stabbing occurred and there were no incidents requiring police action.
