The Bring A Smile Foundation, in collaboration with FANCA and The Federation of the Islamic Associations of New Zealand (FIANZ), has successfully delivered 5,000 diapers to the Sugar Cane Growers Fund and Sugar Cane Growers Council, aimed at supporting the cane farming community.
Iqbal Ismail, the chairman of the FANCA organizing committee, emphasized that this delivery is part of a larger diaper assistance initiative, which totals 96,000 diapers intended for distribution across Fiji. The program highlights their commitment to the farming community and is extended further through partnerships with various non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
Ismail noted that they are coordinating with NGOs such as the Sanatan Society, Fiji Muslim League, and the Methodist Church, among others. The goal of this initiative is to ensure that support reaches all sectors of the community, demonstrating a collective effort to uplift those in need.
This initiative reflects a strong sense of community and solidarity, especially in challenging times. It underscores the importance of collaboration between organizations and the positive impact they can have when working together.
In summary, this program showcases not only the provision of essential supplies but also reinforces the value of community engagement and mutual support. It is a hopeful reminder that when we come together as a community, we can make a difference in the lives of many.
