Coca-Cola’s Heartwarming Donation to Empower Single Mothers

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners has recently donated essential items to the Loloma Home and Care Centre located in Waimalika, Sabeto, Nadi, to support single mothers and their children. Established in 2009 by the late Adi Laite Nawawabalavu Kubunadakai, the center offers a safe environment for these mothers and their kids.

Angela Broad, the head of marketing, brand, and activation, expressed inspiration from the resilience and strength of the women at Loloma Home. “Upon learning about the center’s mission, we felt compelled to help,” she stated. Broad added that the center’s impactful work made them grateful for the opportunity to contribute.

Vaciseva Waqa, director of Loloma, along with her staff, expressed their gratitude to Coca-Cola Europacific Partners. “With support from organizations like Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, we can continue to provide the necessary care for these women and their children. Today’s donation will truly make a difference,” Waqa said.

During the visit, the Coca-Cola team listened to poignant stories from some mothers who have faced rejection from their families. One team member remarked, “This visit has been a humbling experience. It reminds us that we can make a difference by showing compassion and supporting those in need, no matter where we are.”

The centre collaborates closely with the Department of Social Welfare and the local community to serve as an essential resource for vulnerable women. Coca-Cola Europacific Partners emphasized that their donation underscores the positive role businesses can play in supporting the communities in which they operate.
