The Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park was a resounding success once again, taking place on Saturday from noon until 10 PM. Organized by Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Fiji, the event brought joy and excitement to the community, marking its second year of celebration.

Emmy Ling-Elder, head of marketing at Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Fiji, emphasized the event’s significance in spreading joy, fostering connections, and supporting local talent. “We are thrilled to bring Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park back, as it allows us to share the holiday spirit with our community while offering an unforgettable day of celebration and entertainment,” she stated. Additionally, Ms. Ling-Elder noted the importance of giving back to local artists and small businesses, creating a fun and festive atmosphere for everyone involved.

The festivities featured the Coca-Cola food fest, showcasing a wide variety of culinary delights, including BBQ, lovo, Indian cuisine, and other local favorites. The entertainment lineup was equally impressive, featuring prominent Fijian musical acts such as Liz Vamarasi, VLY, The Gang, Aman Singh with Yuvaan Band, Makare, Ouvacast, Tunite, Paradise Rootz, and DJ Vibez.

Moreover, local organizations participated to engage with attendees, including representatives from the Fiji Police Force, National Fire Authority, and Seek to Save Ministry. These organizations provided important information regarding community safety and wellbeing.

To ensure the safety and smooth operation of the event, Cakobau Street was closed to traffic from 12 AM on Friday until 12 PM on Sunday, creating a pedestrian-friendly environment for festival-goers.

This annual celebration not only brought entertainment and joy but also highlighted the community’s spirit of togetherness and support for local talent, making it a cherished tradition in Fiji.

In summary, the Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park exemplified the power of community events to bring people together, celebrate local culture, and foster a sense of joy during the holiday season.
