The Coalition Government has earmarked $2 million in the 2024-2025 Budget for the completion of Govind Park in Ba. This funding is intended to revive the park as a locale for tournaments and community events, a necessity that has been absent in Ba for the past six years.
Deputy Prime Minister Biman Prasad chastised the management of the Govind Park project last year, dubbing it a catastrophe due to inadequate control and management. He stressed on conducting an extensive inquiry into the implementation of the project.
