Five men narrowly avoided serious injuries in a collision between two trucks on Queens Road near Emuri in Sigatoka yesterday. According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Mitieli Divuana, one of the drivers allegedly lost control of his truck, causing it to swerve into oncoming traffic and collide head-on with another vehicle. The second truck was operated by a 44-year-old man who had three passengers with him at the time. Both drivers are currently receiving treatment at Lautoka Hospital, while the passengers have been treated and released. Authorities confirmed that there were no fatalities in the incident.
