A 58-year-old minister from the Methodist Church of Fiji, Kolinio Bulivakarua, is set to reappear in the Suva Magistrates Court on September 4 to have his plea recorded. He is facing charges related to obtaining a financial advantage after allegedly withdrawing $7,683.68 from the mataqali Walakewa TLTB Trust account. This incident reportedly took place during his tenure as Divisional Superintendent of Bukuya, Ba, between January 1 and May 31, four years ago. Bulivakarua’s bail has been extended following his appearance before Magistrate Yogesh Prasad.
