The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), in collaboration with the Ministry of Trade, is poised to kick off the 2024 Trade Exhibition of the People’s Republic of China in Fiji. This significant event will run for the next four days, marking the largest economic and trade exhibition of its kind in history, according to CCPIT’s Deputy Representative, Ma Lei.

Over 30 prominent Chinese companies will showcase their offerings at the exhibition, including industry giants such as China Mobile, China Railway, Huawei, Shacman, and Great Wall Motors, among others. These companies span a diverse range of sectors, featuring products and technologies in areas like infrastructure development, machinery, power equipment, electronics, automotive parts, fisheries, agricultural innovations, and much more.

Ma highlighted that these high-quality products and advancements not only reflect China’s achievements in innovation and industrial improvement but also serve as a crucial opportunity for Fiji and the broader Pacific region to engage with China’s leading technologies and products. This interaction is poised to enhance economic collaboration and foster technical exchanges between China and Fiji, potentially elevating cooperation to new heights.
