Ratu Vuniyani Navuniuci, the Momo Levu Na Tui Nadi, has strongly criticized SODELPA politician Seremaia Tuiteci following his claims that Ratu Vuniyani and Tui Nawaka Ratu Joeli Bulu plan to join the party. In a pointed letter to the media, Ratu Vuniyani categorically refuted Tuiteci’s allegations, stating they are unfounded and have been misrepresented by certain news outlets.
He emphasized that neither he nor Ratu Joeli Bulu has ever voiced any intention to change their current political affiliations or align with SODELPA. Ratu Vuniyani labeled Tuiteci’s claims as completely false and misleading, asserting that they misrepresent his stance to serve Tuiteci’s interests.
Both Ratu Vuniyani and Ratu Joeli Bulu have called for a public apology from Tuiteci for disseminating such misinformation and for attempting to create division within their communities. Ratu Vuniyani affirmed his commitment to his people and expressed unwavering support for Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka’s leadership.
He urged the media and the public to ignore these false assertions and to uphold the truth, reiterating his dedication to maintaining unity and transparency among his constituents.
