Bua’s head coach, Ritesh Chand, is resolute that his team will not settle for a draw in their upcoming Premier League Promotion Final Play-Off against Tavua. Chand spoke about the dedication and effort that have led the team to this critical match.
“A lot is at stake. We’ve come all the way from Bua at our own expense, and we are so close to victory. I am confident the players will give their all; otherwise, all their hard work would be in vain,” he stated.
Chand also mentioned some injuries within the squad, including issues with their goalkeeper. The team had approached the Fiji Football Association a week prior to request a change of registration, but their request was denied.
