Hundreds of people gathered at the Centenary Methodist Church in Suva this morning to honor the memory of former journalist and Fiji Netball President Wainikiti Bogidrau. The heartfelt Homegoing service was attended by many, with thousands more joining the event via live streaming from around the world.

Netball Fiji President RubyAnn Sorovaki-Bainimarama delivered a touching eulogy, reminiscing about Bogidrau’s passionate leadership and her trailblazing spirit in both journalism and netball administration. Bogidrau passed away last Friday at the age of 57, following a brief illness. She leaves behind her only daughter, who shares her name.
